WHO WE ARE

Kerala Pravasi Sangham was inaugurated on October 19, 2002 by the Honorable former Chief Minister of Kerala Comrade EK.Nayanar. The welfare of Kerala expatriates and rehabilitation of those who have decided to settle down in Kerala is the aim of this organization. Presently our organizational activity encompasses ward panchayath level in Kerala.

All our activities are beyond the scope of religious and political views and that is why this organization is the biggest in India. Agitations including parliament march were done to achieve favor and conformity like welfare fund pension, vote of expatriates etc. Organization has the capacity to give solace to expatriates to face his/her problems outside India.

Pravasi sangham is organizing co-operative units on block level in the entire state of Kerala. A lot of people have wrongly invested their wealth in private banks and lost their money. Some have lost their money in real estate business. Our aim is to invest the expatriate’s money safely in our co-operative units and to give loans to those who start new enterprises here in Kerala. Many self help units are getting formed in local panchayat. Ward level to start new enterprises with the help and support of the government. The sole aim of these activities is to generate employment and wealth among the returned expatriates. We have decided to start Pravasi Jana Seva Kendra at various places in Kerala. Receiving payments of welfare Fund subscriptions and all other services related to expatriates settlement is the objective of this seva Kendra. Mr. P.T. Kunjumohmmed (Ex. MLA)(President) and Mr.K.V. Abdhul Khader (MLA) General Secretary are heading this organization.
